LPGA golf professional Amelia Lewis is the honored guest instructor at TPC Academy World Golf Village

After an exhausting visit Down-Under and a sixth place finish at the New Zealand Open (four shots behind winner Lydia Ko), local LPGA golf star Amelia Lewis donated her time recently to the junior golf clinic at The TPC Academy. She demonstrated the favorite three putting drills she uses each week of a golf tournament on the LPGA or LET (Ladies European tour). As the Brand Ambassador for the Putting Arc she explains why these drills and the new MS-3D helped her finish Top 34 in the world for putting in 2015.

After each clinic on Tuesday and Thursday she played in the putting contest with the students. They gave a gallant effort, but could not beat the pro who shot 3 under on Tuesday’s challenge and 9 under on Thursday.

Amelia surprised the winning junior golfer at each clinic tournament with a dozen Titleist pro V1’s, her ball of choice.

Amelia is doing her part in growing the game, one junior golfer at a time.
